This exciting research facility houses the UC Davis Hydrogen Production & Utilization Laboratory, as well as the high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) thermal spray facility, four fuel cell research labs, a machine shop and related research offices and support space. Cunningham Engineering worked on schematic design through construction administration both for onsite and for off-site utilities.
Project challenges included parking accessibility issues, a confined site and a unique drainage system.
