Steve's civil engineering experience focuses on grading and utility alignment projects, subdivision master-planning efforts, capital improvement plans and roadway improvement projects. In addition he has a strong background in geotechnical issues related to mass grading of large master-planned developments, hillside grading, utility and roadway design projects as well as pavement design and rehabilitation.
With over 18 years of engineering design and field observation experience as well as a solid knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices, Steve is able to achieve client goals by providing cost effective, practical designs and by communicating effectively with a wide variety of design professionals, contractors and regulatory agents. His proactive project management style keeps the client’s goals at the forefront. Prior to joining CEC, Steve managed a staff of 8 engineers and technicians performing geotechnical investigations, testing and observation during construction and forensic geotechnical investigations.
